Gambling Systems : Fibonacci System

This is a very old system indeed, and is a progessive betting system based on the Fibonacci sequence of numbers. Your stake is the sum of the preceding stakes – e.g. 1, then 1, then (1+1=) 2, then (2+1=) 3, then (3+2 =) 5, (5+3 =) 8 and so on. You increase along this system whenever you lose, then decrease back down when you win. The idea is that you are always betting the most when you are winning and then betting less and less as you lose. Two successive wins will always generate a profit no matter how much has been lost previously.

Do bear in mind, however, that all progressive betting systems are doomed to failure in the long run : if you find this one works for you in the short run then bank your profits and make for the exits while you’re still ahead. Sooner or later you will run out of cash during a “bad run” - unless you have seriously deep pockets.
