Good morning and welcome to the last August update at Golden Rule Of Gambling. Time for a recap, then of all that’s happened in the last month - and what is to come next month. In the UK August was dominated by the cricket, and England’s thrilling Ashes win over Australia. The 2-1 series win was a popular bet amongst punters, so if you backed that result then congratulations. September will see the one day matches, and the early signs for England aren’t good after the rained off game in Manchester. However that has resulted in the odds of English success drifting out, so if you think they might recover then now is a good time to back them - the Australians still look flaky, and vulnerable to swing bowling. Expect a September with lots of cloud cover, and that means lots of joy for the swing bowlers. Worth a punt on England if you can find decent odds.
