Face Card
A Jack, Queen, and King - also known as "picture cards".
Fifth Street
The fifth card dealt at seven card Stud. See our sister site for a round up of poker rules for beginners.
Fish
A player who plays badly, especially at poker.
Flat Betting
Betting the same amount on each round at a casino game (often poker).
Flop
In Hold'em games, the first three community cards, dealt simultaneously. See our sister site's guide to no limit texas holdem poker rules.
Foul
In Pai-Gow Poker, a hand is fouled when the two-card low hand is set higher than the five-card high hand, or when the hands are set with the wrong number of cards.
Fourth Street
Fourth card dealt at seven card stud. Also sometimes used to describe the "turn card" in holdem poker.
French roulette
Another term for European roulette - played on a roulette wheel with just a single zero rather than the additional double zero of an American roulette wheel.
