Riverboat Rummy Rules
This is not dissimilar to Gin Rummy, but online it is usually a single player game where you try and get the highest possible total rather than trying to beat another player's total. The object of the game is to create sets of 3, 4 or 5 cards along the lines of a pyramid, then 'submit' those sets for points. As the cards are submitted, they are replaced from the stockpile. Play continues until all the stockpile cards are used up and no more sets can be made. A set is valid if all the cards are of the same value, or are in a suited run (aces low). Jokers are wild cards. If a player cannot make a set from the cards available, they can click the stockpile to get a new card, but will incur a penalty. If a game is tied, time remaining will be used as a tiebreaker.
Typical Scoring (from the GameAccount version):
Set of 3: 10,000 pts . Set of 4: 15,000 pts .
Set of 5: 25,000 pts
Multiple Sets Bonus: +3,000 pts per card
Pyramid Bonus (all 3 lines): +30,000 pts
Taking a Stock Card: -5,000 pts
